The border-inline-start-width CSS property specifies the width of the logical inline start borders of an element, which maps to a physical border style depending on the element's writing mode, directionality, and text orientation.

It corresponds to the border-top-color and border-bottom-color, or border-right-color and border-left-color property depending on the values defined for writing-mode, direction, and text-orientation.

Value Description
medium This is default. Specifies a medium border inline start width.
thin Specifies a thin border inline start width.
thick Specifies a thick border inline start width.
length Specifies a length value in px, pt, cm, em, etc. Negative values are not allowed.
initial Sets this property to its default value.
inherit If specified, the associated element takes the computed value of its parent element animation-delay property.
revert Reverts the cascaded value of the property from its current value to the value the property
revert-layer Rollback styles to the ones specified in previous cascade layers.
unset Resets a property to its inherited value if the property naturally inherits from its parent, and to its initial value if not.
